Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Retires

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has announced his retirement from football, the 34 year old Manchester United striker has been battling a knee injury over the last 4 seasons. He will stay at Man Utd as a coach.

Personally I think its a great shame if he could have got back to his form from a few years ago he would have taken an important role in the current season, with Wayne Rooney injured I think he could have had a good season even he was coming off the bench, with Man Utd's start to the season any help would be appreciated. They are in need of some good strikers at the moment and could struggle in the Champion's League this year.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will always be remembers for scoring the winning goal in the 1999 Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

Premier Weekend Round Up

With all the Premiership favourites failing to get a win this weekend its Man City on top of the pile, their 1 - 0 defeat of Man Utd has left Alex Ferguson's team winless after three matches. Chelsea and Arsenal both drew 1 - 1 against their opponents.

Chelsea are currently 2nd followed by Wigan and Everton, even though we all know you cant tell anything after just 3 matches I find it a surprise that Chelsea are 5 points ahead of Man Utd already and in a long season these failure to win for Man Utd could become costly towards the end of the season.
